The Christmas market is operated by a not-for-profit group of volunteers working with Tewkesbury Town Council.
We plan, organise and run the market day itself, with planning starting in June, up until the day of the event (and the day after to check all is cleared up!)
We are seeking volunteers for the day to help steward and assist the public at critical points around the event.
If you can give up a few hours to help out with this community event please get in touch via the feedback form on this website.
If you want to be more involved in the running of the event and can give up some time to attend a few meetings and be around on the day itself, we would be very grateful! Helping take a lead on market traders, public safety, setup and takedown, making hot drinks in the town hall, or assisting father Christmas and his elves, there is something for everyone and you get to have that feel-good factor heling out the biggest community event that takes place in Tewkesbury each year, again reach out to us via the contact form.

STALL HOLDERS

Each year we have over 80 food and craft stalls in the High Street ranging from sausage rolls, home-made cakes, photography products and jewellery.
Stalls are supplied by Cotswold Markets Ltd and come covered with a plastic canopy to protect you and your goods from the elements and are also illuminated with festoon lamps. The length of the stall is approximately 3 metres. If you are looking to have a stall at our event we highly recommend you book early as stalls are allocated on a 'first come first served' basis.
