Our Christmas Market and Lights Switch On
event will take place between 12 noon-1800 on:

THIS YEAR WILL SEE THE FOURTH TIME WE TAKE OVER PARTS OF THE HIGH STREET, CHURCH STREET AND BARTON STREET WITH FAIR GROUND RIDES, A PERFORMANCE STAGE, VARIOUS ACTIVITIES AND 100 CHRISTMAS MARKET STALLS.

THE LIGHTS WILL BE SWITCHED ON  
 AT 1700 AROUND THE CROSS IN THE TOWN CENTRE

​Travel  into town, enjoy free parking, and soak up the festive atmosphere.  Enjoy Christmas shopping at your own pace ...  

You can always stay for the day and enjoy a delicious lunch or relaxing evening evening meal in one of Tewkesbury's eateries, pubs, coffee houses or restaurants.  

• Enjoy the farmers market where you can pick up locally sourced high quality produce; 
• Browse the array of over 80 Christmas stalls stocked with unique Christmas gifts & handmade crafts; 
• Traditional fair ground rides - Fun for the children
• ​Free on stage entertainment from local musicians and dancers 
• Meet the cast from The Roses Theatre's Pantomime
• Watch the Christmas Lights magically switched on at 5pm ​

Tewkesbury is situated in the county of Gloucestershire and is conveniently located five minutes from Junction 9 of the M5. 
 
The main event takes place in the High Street, Barton Street and Church Street which is closed off to traffic between 0600-2100 on the day of the event.  

Nearby convenient FREE parking can be found at Spring Gardens/Oldbury Road car parks. 
There are also other close FREE car parks at : Gloucester Road (suitable for coaches), Gander Lane and Howells Road.
